Drums should be resurfaced when they become grooved or output becomes inefficient.

Cylindrical grinding of drums provides a 32 RMS surface that gives you a sharp edge on the holes.  Drums are checked for roundness, straightened if needed, and pressure washed and deburred for a good as new finish.  Our one day turnaround has your resurfaced drum on its way back to you the same day we receive it.
 

Plates should be reground frequently.  Plates should never be allowed to develop a rough or grooved surface.  Regrinding plates frequently will pay for itself with reduced wear on knives and blades.

Replacement insert blades must not be reground but should be replaced before they are too badly worn.
